Men who come to this retreat aren’t visibly falling apart.
Your life probably looks fine from the outside.
Work is busy, successful, but your responsibilities are stacking up, and people rely on you.

The issue is that everything lives in your head.
Decisions get pushed back
and not because you can’t make them...
but because there’s never any space to think properly.
And your work regularly bleeds into home.
Home feels like another thing you’re half-present for.
Not able to focus on your family because of things at the office nagging at you
You tell yourself it’ll ease once this busy phase passes....
but it rarely does.
The pace stays high,
the noise stays constant,
and you keep carrying it.
Because that's what men do.
They provide, without complaint, or showing that things are getting on top.
Real men don't cry. Right?
This weekend exists because clarity doesn’t happen in the middle of a normal week.
It happens when there’s distance from routine
fewer distractions, less questions and no new '5 minute jobs'
and time to think without being pulled in ten directions.
The weekend has structure, but it isn’t a bootcamp.
It’s designed to give you space from the noise,
enough time to think properly,
and a reset of the basics that slip when life gets busy.
Across the weekend there’s simple movement, time outside, proper food, and good conversation, with plenty of downtime built in.
- Sauna
- Gym
- Library
- Naps
- Sitting with a brew
it’s there if that’s what you need.

Phones aren’t banned,
but most people naturally stop checking them because the pace drops and there’s less pulling at you.
There’s also fun without everything revolving around booze
- a pub quiz
- a comedian on the Friday night
and the kind of chats you don’t get through messages.
Nothing is forced, and there’s no pressure to perform.
Optional one-to-one coaching is available if you want to use the space to talk something through and leave with clear next steps.

There's no chanting here.
No group sob circles.
No spirit animals
No awkward vulnerability workshops where someone starts oversharing and you're not sure what to say
And you definitely aren't going to be walking over hot coals, jumping in cold mud pools, or beating each other with leaves
A clear mind
Space from the noise, decisions, and constant mental load.
Clarity on what matters
A Life MOT, so you can choose your path not be forced into one.
Direction forward
Simple, practical tools that help you stay grounded once you’re home.
Accountability
A 30-day Basics Journal to help your new habits bed in.
Connection
Good men, real conversation, proper support, not the forced fake friendships and constant awkward hugs
More clarity in their life, for business, and direction
Less noise clogging up their day with pointless tasks and distractions from other people
Better headspace to make the right decisions for their family, friends and business without conflicts
Connection without cringe, if you're a very huggy person who likes to cry and over share, this isn't for you
Space to think about the next chapter
A boozy lads’ weekend, if you're looking for a piss up and a fight this isn't for you
A hardcore fitness camp, there's no marathons, ice baths or 4am validation shouting
A spiritual awakening with chanting, just fck off with that sort of stuff
A retreat full of buzzwords and beanbags, the sky is definitely clear but there isn't any blue sky thinking or parking thoughts in the cloud.

I've lived through
- Addiction
- Burnout
- Rebuilding
- Raising kids
- Running a business
- Selling a business
and finally learning how to like the bloke I see in the mirror.
I got sober in 2009, rebuilt my life step by step, and created a framework called The Basics:
Strip away the noise, focus on what matters, get back to yourself.
This retreat is built around that.
